We know the word has been over-used this year but we are currently facing unprecedented demand, which is coinciding with material shortages in some timber and hardware lines.
During our stage 4 restrictions, many of our trade customers couldn’t work. Now they are back working but trying to catch up, which has driven a lot of people to DIY rather than wait.
Add that to our normal pre-Christmas rush and better weather.
It means that when you phone or come in to the store, we are more likely to already be on other calls and our normal fast delivery may be a little slower.
We understand that you are entitled to expect better customer service than that, so we apologise and ask for your understanding.
